Tracheostomy education

This online educational module, by Texas Children's Hospital, is intended to improve routine care and emergency management of tracheostomy. This online curriculum has a video demonstrating tracheostomy management followed by a knowledge assessment. We demonstrate routine tracheostomy change in a real patient and a step-wise process for managing tracheostomy emergencies in a simulated environment. The video has prompts to highlight pertinent knowledge content. This curriculum is intended for use by pediatric residents, fellows, primary care providers, nurses, emergency staff and allied health professionals who care for children with tracheostomy. You may pause during the module, exit and/or return to this module at any time and completion of this program is voluntary.  After you have viewed the video, please take the assessment here
